Originally when I was planning to write this blog post I was going to write 27 things that I learned throughout my life. But then I really could wrap it all up into one which is if nobody does not have my back I know "God's got me". And I know it sounds cliché but until you have actually experienced anyone not having your back and it's really just you and God you will understand.
So as I started looking back over my life, I thought to myself what if our birthday’s were the day we should celebrate God and not ourselves thanking him for bringing us through to another year? This year I deiced I’m going to spend my birthday with the same one I started with, and that’s God. And it was surely beautiful indeed. In life we make everything about us but I’ve learned that moment we stop making it less about ourselves and more about him God will continue to elevate you.
So I ask what are you doing to acknowledge God on the day he deiced to give you life? After all he is he reason why you are still alive and well.
Here are three tips to help acknowledge God on your birthday:
Wake up thanking God for another year.
Be aware and more in tuned when you are out celebrating know that God is always with you, so its okay to talk to him while you’re at dinner with friends and family.
Make your day less about you and more about him. Maybe ask God what he would like you to do on your day. You’ll find he’s pretty creative, which would make sense he is the ultimate creator..lol
