Spiritual Discernment

Spiritual discernment is something that you will need as God continues to elevate you. Discernment is being able to properly see people for who they really are. Being able to see people based on their intentions what’s inside their heart and not based on their outward appearance or words. And it’s important that you surround yourself with people who have your best intentions. You don’t want to get bogged down with people who are secretly competing or rooting for your down fall. That’s why it’s important you pray and ask God for spiritual discernment. God will reveal to you people’s true intentions.
I know many times we can be in relationships or entering new friendships and hesitant about fully embracing it because of our past hurt experiences but it’s not our job to judge, it our job to show love to people always and leave the judging up to God. And when you are unsure or confused about a certain situation pray and ask God to give you discernment but don’t allow your uncertainty dictate the way you treat people.
Here are three tips to help you gain spiritual discernment

Stay grounded in the word. Don’t allow other people’s cruel intentions to change the way you respond. God sees your heart and blesses obedience.
