Nothing Great Happens Overnight!

Here is the thing, most of us want to get rich fast, take cute pictures with our significant other without putting the time into building a foundation for the relationship, get promoted in our job but not fully have developed the proper skill set. You have to beware of things that come too easy. Some people like to call them handouts where things are just given to you without you putting in the proper due diligence work.
For those of you who are addicted to the "Get Rich Quick Schemes" I have news for you. What God has for you usually comes with a process. God has not called us to easy but to greatness and the ability of discernment, the ability to tell what’s good for us and what’s bad for us even if something appears to look good on the outside. And nothing great happens over night. The process is needed because it’s God’s way of teaching us the things that need to be learned along the way that builds our character and ultimately strengthens our faith in him. And the lessons that are learned during the process will need to be applied in your next level of elevation.
Natural progression is important because it allows you to look back and see how far you came. It develops your gratitude and appreciation. It keeps you humble as God continues to lift you up. Don’t disqualify the season that you are currently in right now. Weather it’s good or bad be grateful and remain humble. God is trying to take you somewhere and teach you something’s about faith and obedience. So don’t skip the process.
Here are three tips to help you not skip the process:
Pray and ask God to help you to be satisfied with your current portion. How can God give you more and you can’t appreciate what he’s already given you?
Ask God to reveal to you the lessons that you need to learn in your current season.
Learn to enjoy the process nothing great happens over night.
