It’s imperative as you go from level to level and enter season to season that you're content in each level and new season. To be content means to be satisfied and fulfilled it’s a state of happiness. The secret to maintaining your happiness is knowing rather your rich or poor married or unmarried having a good day or bad but that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He is always with you. It doesn’t matter how big the storm may look God has not forgotten about you.
Maintaining your happiness, is a mindset knowing that God has everything under control and that its only a test. For example, I know if God had me lose everything right now, I would rejoice and knowing that it’s only a test and then ask God what he would like me to learn from the situation so I am able to move forward to the next level.
I’ve learned that every time you are entering a new level there is going to be a test right before the next level. Each level will require you to become more dependent on God and less of yourself. It’s apart of the process and your journey of God preparing you for what’s to come. So no matter what the situation you should still have joy. The scriptures say “Consider it pure joy brothers and sisters whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:1-2)
The process through your journey is important because it gives you a grateful heart and it also allows you to understand that it wasn’t anyone or anything but God that allowed you to make it this far.
Here are three tips to help you maintain your happiness:
When trials come your way do not get discouraged instead rejoice in the fact that test and trials only come to bring us closer to God and to strengthen your faith.
Don’t put your trust in people put your trust in God, for he knows the beginning and the end and has it all under control.
Start your day by waking up and thanking God for everything you have and stop asking him for the things you don’t have. God is our farther not a genieie. He already knows what you need.
