Dealing with a break up is not always the easiest thing. As humans it can be hard to let things go and see the light on the other side. I’ve learned that many times we put ourselves in relationships that we should have never entered in the first place and wonder why the relationship is not working out. Many times the signs were there from the beginning but we ignore them thinking that we can change that person or we can make it work. Ultimately we choose to ignore the signs, because our minds are already made up that this is the person that we want to be with and our heart is telling us that this person is the one. But have you ever thought to stop and consult with God about your relationships? Did you know that God will bring people into your life that will bring meaning and value to your life?
Our relationships that we entertain are important when reaching the next level because they will either assist you to where God is taking you or they will distract you and keep you stuck.
It’s imperative that you break off relationships that are not chosen by God. This at times may be painful but it’s imperative for your growth and progression. Here are four tips to help you heal from a broken heart.
Readjust your focus. Your focus should remain on developing your relationship with God so he can lead and guide you in the direction he needs you to go. The time that you spent going on dates and spending time with that person replace that time with spending time with God.
Remove that person from any social media platforms. Stocking their page will only distract you.
Stop putting the expectation on people to make you happy. People can’t make you happy. So that means when they leave you are not happy anymore? True joy comes from God nobody can’t take your joy away.
Guard your heart. Stop Giving your heart away to everyone who thinks your cute. Give your heart to God. The person who is for you should have to seek God to find you.
