How To Trust Your Journey

Nine years ago today I had my first born son. I was eighteen years old and in my last year of high school. I had no clue what the future would bring. I knew the first step was to go to college and I did. Looking back on my life nine years ago, I was lost, I had no meaning, no purpose, or direction, I was taking whatever life had to offer. My relationships were toxic. I was surrounded by people who added no value into my life. I was drinking and partying every weekend when I wasn’t in school. I got by in life for so long solely based on how I looked and nothing else. I had no problem picking up random guys and getting what I wanted out of them. I literally thought that that I was going to marry rich become a house wife and life would be all rose petals, trips, and gifts.
And then I developed my own relationship with God and he told me I have so much more planned for you. And then he gave me purpose, meaning, and direction, and he showed me myself how ugly, selfish, and broken I was in my heart. And then I gave God all my broken pieces and he made me whole and today he has given me a platform to speak to other young woman, about matters of the heart. This morning I woke up and my heat is full because reflecting back nine years ago I could tell you some stories…… let’s just say I was a mess. But one thing I was reminded of is that God is a full circle God. There is nothing that you can do that can stop you from manifesting the promises God has for your life. Know matter how many times you failed. No past is dark enough where God can not turn your entire life around. So rejoice in the fact that God has it under control. He has not forgot about you, just trust your process.
Here are some tips to help you trust your journey:
Put your trust in God and not people. People will fail you God will never fail you.
Read your word and understand the promises he has over your life
There is nothing that you can do to kill what God has already ordained to live.
