The World is Counting on You!

Inspired by the election day results and all the emotional responses that came soon after I was actually very shocked of how upset people were that Donald Trump was president. Working at a university I found that we were actually hosting “post election day support groups” for students to help them cop with the presidential election results. I mean there were people actually in tears because Donald Trump was in office. And If I can be completely honest with you Donald Trump being in office is not the issue. The problem with the world today is that people are not becoming the person who God has created them to be. People are not in alignment with the will of God. If a tragedy in the world were to happen God already knew it was going to happen. And he also already conquered the world. The scriptures say in the world you will have tribulation but take heart I have over come the world. (John 16:33).
As a people we have to stop putting our hope in man and place our hope in God so he can then tell us what he needs us to do. God has placed insights and ability on the inside of us to make us the head and not the tail. What is God telling you to do as an individual to save yourself, and then your family, and then your community? If you want change then be the change you want to see; and then teach your children, and as a family go out and help build our communities.
Just like God had to send Jesus in the flesh to redeem us from our sins. He created each one of us to redeem the world from their problems before they occurred. But the problem is that people are not fully submitting to God’s will for their lives. Meaning if you were born in this generation it’s because you are the answer to this generation. God has appointed people in this generation to be the change agent in the world and resolve problems in the world. The answers are in you reaching your full potential. Being the person who God has called you to be, the person he created before you entered your mother’s womb. The world is counting on you! And needs you to be the person who God created and not the you you think you are.
To be the person who God has called you to be it’s a daily intent to want to change. Here are four tips to help you “become” the person who God has created you to be.
First and foremost, read your word and get familiar with his voice. You cannot be led by God if you can not recognize his voice.
You need to have vision. You need to be able to see yourself walking and talking as the new you. How are you going to wear your hair? What kind of clothes are you going to wear?
You need to practice. Look at yourself in the mirror and act as though you are already there. What would you say? Talk out loud to hear and formulate your thoughts
Look at best practices. Study people who are already there. How did they start? What did they do?
