Seasonal Friendships

When you fully surrender your life to God and are walking out destiny learning how to maintain healthy relationships are important simply because you can't take everyone with you. For example, some people are only your friends because you don't know who the real you are just yet. As God continues to elevate you that may mean leaving some friendships behind that were developed based off of false identities. In other words they only liked you because you were not the real you yet, your friendships are being developed based off of your own insecurities and being the person who other people think you should be which then creates an image of you that's not the real you. You want to get to a place where you no longer want to hide behind your looks or a persona you created because it's not serving anything or anybody besides yourself.
Knowing how to navigate friendships has nothing to do with thinking your better than anyone but everything to do with manifesting your purpose. When your doing what God has called you to do it takes your undivided attention. You have to be able to silence any distractions in your life so that you can hear his voice clearly so he can lead and guide you to the next step. Destiny is a daily walk with God that requires you and God alone. And don't worry God will bring you new friends and restore old relationships you thought were lost. If you are being led by God he will lead you to the right relationships and they will be chosen by him.
Here are three tools that will help during a dry friend season.
1. Focus on the vision. Develop a strategy. This is a perfect time to create. You should be adding a brick to your vision daily
2. Enhance your spiritual life. Spend time with God and in your word. Get familiar with his voice.
3. Serve. Learn how to serve people. It keeps you humble. Humility is needed for when you reach the promise land. Become a volunteer, all Jesus did was serve. Learn how to give back. Your purpose has everything to do with helping someone else. As you continue to give of yourself you make room for God to continue to provide for you. God blesses you so you can bless others.
