God Enlarge My Territory!

How can God enlarge your territory and you can’t manage what you have right now?

Often times we ask God to increase our finances, give us a bigger home, Lord I need a business. And then when we do get those things we have a whole new list of things that we need. We have to begin to loose the mentality of complaining and always wanting more and learn how to work with the portion that God has given us. Having true joy is learning how to be content in every situation weather you have little or in plenty but knowing that God is your provider and when you need it he will provide it.

You will never be satisfied if your always asking God for more when God is saying be grateful for what you have right now. Look how far I brought you. I’ve learned to multiply and work with whatever God has given me and be satisfied with my portion. It’s just like the story in the Bible of Jesus feeding multitudes of people with only five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus looked up to heaven and gave thanks to God before he broke the bread and started feeding the people. (Read the story Matthew 14:13-21) Jesus had to work with what he had and multiply it in the name of his father. Jesus never once looked up to God and asked him for more. He gave thanks to God because he knew that it was already done. This is the level of faith that we need. When we come to God, we don’t need more things but just more of God alone.

If I know that rice was the only thing that I had in my cabinet to eat, guess what I’m doing? I’m going on YouTube and looking up five different ways I can prepare rice for each day of the week, and enjoy every moment of it. I challenge you to make the most of what you have and multiply it in the name of Jesus. How can God trust your with more and you don't even know what to do with the little you have right now? Here are some tips that helped me to work with my portion.

  1. Read your word. Develop your own relationship with God and know that he is your provider and not your bank account.

  2. Be Resourceful. If your asking God for a financial increase look around your house and see how much stuff you’re not using and can sell to someone else.

  3. Live within your budget. Your asking God for a financial increase but you can’t properly manage your current salary.

  4. Become more disciplined. Learn how to say yes to this and no to that. You may not be able to hang out with friends and go out to eat every weekend. But that okay. You’re on a mission to destiny and you have to stay focused.
