For a long time, I struggled with deciding on a career path, finding passion in my work ethic, what city to reside in and basically trying to figure out every single detail of my life. Mostly because society teaches us to make plans and to set goals. But what if things don’t go as planned? (Which I’ll write post about “Plans” in a later blog) I always thought as soon as I get a job I’ll be happy, or as soon as I get my car life will become easier, or as soon as I move out of my home town my life will begin.

And then when I did get a job and a car I put all these unrealistic expectations on these material things that couldn’t do anything for me or have any control over my happiness or my future. It wasn’t until I fully surrendered my life to God that things started to become clear and make sense in my life. The question marks in my career, in my future, parenting, in my personal relationships all disappeared. It was almost like I once was blind but now I can see. I suddenly felt true to who I was and who God has called me to be. It was like a breath of fresh air, like a huge burden just lifted off my shoulder, knowing that I didn’t have to have all the answers but I just had to be led by the one who does. In this blog I’m sharing pieces of my own journey and things that I’ve learned along the way in return to help someone else.

The passages that I write can be used as a guide to help you to navigate this thing called life. I will touch on spiritual growth, personal development, and how to build healthy relationships, which are all vital in reaching your full potential. I will only write about topics that I have experienced myself or what God has placed on my heart. These are simply tips and tools to help those who share similar circumstances. Feel free to comment if you have something positive to share. I believe we all can grow from each others experiences. Here a few things you should know about this blog:
